HEALTH TIP: Most of us are often on the go with a busy lifestyle. If we are not travelling by foot we are at least doing it by car. It often seems that time flies by and because of that some of you may be comforted with bad eating habits or less water intake. To counter this situation, prepare your foods and drinks at home and bring it with you. Buying better quality foods that travel with you easily like apples, bananas, pears as well as things like fresh veggies, hard-boiled eggs, hummus and whole grain crackers, will allow you and your family to eat on the go while keeping it healthy. Same goes for your beverages, bring it with you. Fill your container with the appropriate amount of water you will need for the day, prepare your green tea in the morning and bring yourself a small box of organic smoothie or even nut/cereal milk. By preparing yourself ahead of time, you will eat & drink healthy, keep your immune system strong and of course save money. Although it may take you a bit of time to get use to the idea of preparing drinks and lunches for your fast past life, in the end, you will be happier and healthier for it!
