On our great quest to a happy life, we may sometimes forget to enjoy the journey, to live full-out the little moments, to cherish what we already have that is perfect in our lives.

My Mom always told me happiness is like a bunch of grapes. Alone, it is only one little thing, but when you add it all up, you have one big happy life.

This morning as I drove into town, I felt my heart fill with joy and gratitude while listening to my son sing his heart out with the radio tunes. How lucky I was to be part of this small moment in time that meant so much to me!

What small moment are you grateful for?

Hello Special Sweets!
For a complete FREE HEALTH Journal, please remember to sign up on my BLOG.

October…. Halloween… and more treats!

Next week, we have some new and different classes starting, don’t miss them. It could be exactly what you need to finally help you reach your goals, one week at a time. Come check us out!

How have you been?

We had such a great couple of weeks! We visited the Sistine Chapel exposition at the Palais des Congres in Montreal, which was absolutely amazing! We went organic apple picking on Ile Saint Bernard and cooked up a storm of yumminess! We also took advantage of the nice weather to get deep into cleaning the gardens and harvesting our last veggies so they did not freeze, and finally, we got back into the routine of life after our much appreciated vacation.

What is going on with you? I would love to hear from you, so please leave me your comments on my blog so I can reply.

Since it is apple season, I have added 2 reicipes for you. Let me know what you think.

I look forward to seeing you in class, sharing some one-on-one time with you or setting up some new goals to conquer.

Create a great week!

With love & light,

Savourez!

It’s apple season once again and it is important to take full advantage of it to feed ourselves with in season vegetables, plants and fruits. This year, Noah Jade and I went to a new biological orchard. The picking season is short there, but it is an extraordinary place. I encourage you to go and tour the place.

With these beautiful apples, which we have been eating since last weekend, I also made some raw and cooked applesauce (because Noah Jade likes to eat it a little cooked applesauce in the morning), some juice, tarts (healthy ones), and a few other items.

Here are two beautiful, simple great recipes for applesauce:

COOKED APPELSAUCE
3 big apples,
30 ml of pure water

Carefully remove the heart and cut apples into chunks. Keep the peel. Put all the apple chunks and pure water in a pot and bring to a boil. Lower the temperature to allow the apples to soften without burning. The cooking time is going to vary according to the type of apples you are using. When apples decompose easily with a fork, it is done. Let the apples sit to cool before blending in the Vitamix (or other blender). Enjoy!

RAW APPLESAUCE
200 grams of apples,
20 grams dates,
10 grams of Goji berries,
15 ml of agave syrup of agave (optional),
5 ml of lemon juice

Carefully remove the heart and cut apples into chunks. Keep the peel. Put all the ingredients in the Vitamix or other blender and blend on high until the texture is smooth.

Enjoy!

belle en rose

See below for English

There is nothing simpler nor healthier than eating live and raw foods. Here is one of my favourite recipes. Can be served for breakfast or even as a tasty snack.

Pretty in Pink

250 ml almond milk (or other vegan milk of your choice)
250 ml strawberries (or fruit of your choice)
30 ml hemp seeds
15 ml raw coconut oil
5 ml vanilla
30 ml maple syrup (agave or 2 Médools dates)
60 ml chia seeds

Place all the ingredients except for the chia seeds in your Vita-Mix (or other blender) and puree till smooth. Pour the mixture into a glass and add the chia seeds. Mix with a fork and refrigerate. Stir regularly to minimise clumps and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Hello Lovelies!

Here we are at the beginning of a new school year and fast approaching the end of summer. Did you enjoy it fully? Are you rested, full of vitamin D and ready to reach new goals?

Personally, I very much enjoyed the summer. The gardens offered us bountiful amounts of veggies, fruits and herbs. We also took advantage of the time for camping, travelling, biking, loads of baseball and installing a pool! I loved every cool and sunny day, just as much as the cool water on the really hot days! We made a point of getting our vitamin D and are completely ready to conquer new goals.

What’s new?

We now have ISA’S HEALTH CAPSULES. These are short videos offering you tips and information on different subjects all health related.

We will also offer more classes and workshops: RAW/LIVING FOODS, MEDITATION, S.E.M. (Health, Balance and Better Living), and a new course, HEALTH-CHALLENGE. In this 1 hour, 10 week class, we will conquer a new health related challenge every week.

Make sure you to give your name and preference/availability for class hours and dates for classes that are of interest to you because spaces are limited. Classes will start in the week of SEPTEMBER 21st. It is possible to have day or evening classes and we will wait for your confirmations before giving a set date and time for the classes.

Finally, if it is not already done, make sure you are registered to our BLOG and E-LETTER as to receive directly in your inbox, all my heath & wellness news, tips and recommendations!

Stay healthy and see you soon!

Isabelle xoxo
