My Raw Birthday / My Fête Crue

This year I celebrated my 46 birthday and my 3rd year into this new and wonderful life of mine. What a great few days it was. I spent it doing what I love and with the people that matter the most! I am not sure if it is the 40’s or the past few years that have lead me to this wonderful time in my life. All I know is that I am more confident in myself and what is important in my life than I have ever been. I have a great career, home, family and friends. I get to spend just about as much time as I like with my son and I am healthy. Don’t think that there is nothing left for me to accomplish. Just like everyone else, each day holds it’s own challenges and there are numerous goals I have yet to conquer. For example, I am still busy attracting that wonderful partner that I will be able to share on all levels with.

All in all, I am happy and satisfied with my daily decisions, and when I am not, I allow myself to feel those negative emotions, and then I do my best to take better decisions. One decision that I am proud of is what I chose to make for my birthday. Here is a glimpse of my Raw Chocolate-Goji-Strawberry cake. Way to yummm not to share!

Cette année j’ai célébré mes 46 ans et ma 3e année dans cette nouvelle et merveilleuse vie qui est la mienne. Ce fut quelques magnifiques journées! J’ai passé du temps à faire ce que j’aime, avec des gens que j’apprécie énormément! Je ne sais pas si c’est la quarantaine ou les dernières années qui m’ont amenées vers ce temps parfait de ma vie. Tout ce que je sais est que je suis plus confiante et certaine de ce que je veux dans ma vie. J’ai une magnifique carrière, maison, famille et amis. Je passe autant de temps que je désire avec mon fils (ou presque) et je suis en santé. Ne pensez surtout pas qu’il ne me reste rien à accomplir. Comme tout le monde, chaque journée comporte ses propres défis et il me reste encore beaucoup de buts à accomplir. Par exemple, je suis encore à perfectionner, .

Dans l’ensemble, je suis heureuse et satisfaite de mes décisions quotidiennes et lorsque je ne le suis pas, je me permets de ressentir ces émotions négatives et je fais de mon mieux pour prendre de meilleures décisions. Une dont je suis très fière est ce que j’ai choisi de me faire comme gâteau de fête. Voici un petit aperçu de mon gâteau Chocolat-Goji-Fraises Cru. Trop bon pour partager!!

Brain awake Smoothie / Smoothie Réveille-cerveau

I made this great smoothie up in a flash and I just LOVE how it helped get my choco fix in and what it did to my brain. I have the He Shou Wu to thank for that!

I am always looking for special food that will make me feel like the powerful woman I know I am, and this drink is definitely that in a bottle, POWER!

It has a refreshing taste to it and is loaded with calcium because of the carob and phytonutrients and antioxidants because of the purple corn. When adding carob to your recipes, make sure you look for the raw, organic kind. This way you are getting all the taste without giving up the nutrients. I also opted for apricots instead of the dates to give a little sweetness to it. It is a great alternative and isn’t loaded with carbs and calories. I used raspberries, but you should definitely listen to your body and add ONE fruit that you love.

1 cup coconut water
1/2 cup raspberries
1/4 teaspoon blue corn
2 dried apricots
1 tablespoon carob powder
1/4 teaspoon He Shou Wu

Blend all together and enjoy!
*Makes 2 smaller portions


J’ai préparé ce super-smoothie dans un instant et j’ADORE qu’il m’ait permis d’avoir ma dose de chocolat ET a réveillé mon cerveau! Ça c’est grace au He Shou Wu.

Je suis régulièrement à la recherche de nouvelle bouffe qui me permettra de ressentir la femme de pouvoir que je sais que je suis. Cette boisson est certainement cela, le POUVOIR en bouteille!

Il a un petit goût rafraichissant et est rempli de calcium (à cause du carob) et de phyto-nutriments et antioxidants (à cause du maïs mauve). Lorsque vous ajoutez du carob à vos recettes, assurez-vous de choisir une marque biologique et crue. De cette façon, vous profiterez pleinement du goût et vous bénéficierez de nutriments de qualité. Pour sucrer le tout, j’ai aussi choisi des abricots au lieu des dates. C’est une belle alternative qui offre plusieurs bénéfices avec moins de calories et glucides. Comme fruit, j’ai ajouté des framboises. Je vous recommande d’être à l’écoute de votre corps et d’ajouter UN fruit de votre choix.

1 tasse eau de coco
1/2 tasse de framboises
1/4 c.à.thé de maïs bleu
2 apricots séchés
1 c.à.table de poudre de caroube
1/4 c.à.thé de He Shou Wu

Mélanger tous les ingrédients et savourez!

It’s official, we are now into spring and not a moment too soon! I hope you’re enjoying it just as much as we are? Even though the days are taking their sweet time feeling warm, the earth is still warming up.  We can tell with all the changes happening around and within us. It is actually a perfect time to do some cleanup, a detox and even a fast. Each year, I take advantage of this time to do both, and this year was no different.  

Aside the fact that my entire system clears up and I feel completely ready for a great summer, I usually learn something at a deeper level during this cleansing period.  This time, it was regarding lists.  With the busy lives that we all lead, to-do lists are becoming more and more popular.  I for one have a to-do list for just about everything in my life. I would even go as far as to say that I have found myself spending more energy in the “DOING”, then in the “BEING”.  We get so busy and caught up in doing stuff, that we may forget how important it is just to BE. This has now become my new goal, to BE.  While I will continue to have to-do lists so I may make progress towards all of my goals, I will now create the time to BE. It is not an easy task to BE, as it requires us to slow down and not be in a perpetual state of doing, but rather to take time to feel and live.  

Along with this new goal, Centre Natural Healing will be offering more meditation classes this session.  We will take advantage of the warmer weather to practice meditation inside as well as outside and in both sitting and mobile postures.  Each class will offer a different THEME, and our goal will be to explore two meditation practices during our workshop hour.  Registration is now open, so take advantage of this time to secure your spot!

After my bad ski accident a few weeks ago, I was finding it really hard to enjoy myself. It was a pretty bad fall and I was scared and even though I went back several times, I just couldn’t let go of the fear (negative emotions are funny that way). Regardless if it is fear, anger, hate, sadness, or any other negative emotion, these simple to use plants help to restore balance, mood, emotions and inner states. Mind you, they cannot offer you a quality you don’t already possess or rid you of a persisting problem. Journal Natural Healing janvier 2015

Bonne Année chers amis et fidèles lecteurs! Que 2015 soit votre année! Je vous souhaite paix, amour, abondance, prospérité, santé et surtout puissiez-vous trouver de la joie de vivre dans tous les moments de votre vie!

Ici au Centre Natural Healing, nous avons eu une merveilleuse année 2014 et nous sommes très excités d’attaquer 2015! Comme toujours, une nouvelle année est comme un nouveau chapitre dans notre livre personnel. Elle nous apporte espoir, de nouvelles possibilités et un renouveau.

À la fin de 2014, j’ai complété un autre jeûne et detox. Pour ceux et celles qui me connaissent bien, vous vous demandez probablement pourquoi j’ai entrepris un nettoyage si tard dans l’année. Ce n’était certainement pas le moment idéal, mais je sentais que tout mon être en avait besoin. J’étais fatiguée, sans motivation, ni énergie et de plus, j’éprouvais de la difficulté avec ma digestion. Je n’étais pas à mon meilleur. Alors, j’ai plongé et quel detox/jeûne ce fut! Je ne me souviens pas d’avoir eu un si bon jeûne! Lorsque ce que tu fais ne t’apporte pas les résultats escomptés, fait autre chose. Ceci est exactement ce que j’ai fait. J’ai fait un jeûne de 10 jours et cela a changé ma vie. Mes objectifs sont devenus clairs et j’ai placé de nouveaux buts. Je suis heureuse de vous annoncer que j’en ai déjà d’accomplis. Et en voici quelques-uns :

J’ai maintenant un nouvel espace pour offrir les cours et ateliers au Centre Natural Healing. Je viens tout juste de terminer cette semaine et c’est superbe!!
