Healing Notes

Seeing what is great in our life is not always an easy task, so this is why I just looovvveee this idea! I call it the Healing Jar Notes.

 This is our decorated jar, home to nearly 1 year of super, extraordinary, feel-good moments written up on colored papers!

 The purpose of this Healing Note Jar is to help heal some wounds and to recognize all that is really great in your life. In one year, lots of things happen, lots of things are lived, lots of things are seen and lots of things are felt. Some of us may have a tendency to recall the tougher times in our lives instead of the great moments. The goal of the Healing Jar Notes is to allow you to focus on all those wonderful things that occurred during the year. 

When you are going about your normal life and something, even if small, touches you in any particular way, take a moment to write it down. Add all the details you need to so you can easily recall this moment in the future. You can even add the date if you like. Personally, I like to use colored paper because it adds to the moment. I also like to add details on what I saw, heard and felt.

The more information you add to that little piece of paper, the easier it will be for you to recall and relive that moment in time.

One year after starting this Healing Jar, if you are committed to writing all your feel-good moments down, your jar will be full. Reading all these notes will let you know just how many great moments were present in your life. It will be like spread a balm on a cut… healing!

My Healing Jar will be ready for review on December 31st. I am so looking forward to it! I have not only added special moments to my notes, but special feelings I lived, books I read, amazing things I saw and even intuitions I got. Everything that I felt grateful for was noted and added to the Healing Jar.

How to Make a Holiday Healing

Holidays can be a great opportunity to reconnect with friends and loved ones and even to recreate harmony within yourselves. They often gives us that extra time that we sometimes don’t have during our activity-filled lives. However, for some, holidays are a reminder of better days or things lost. Whatever your memories are of a specific holiday, you can heal some old wounds by following some basic guidelines:

1- Take some extra time to rest up. Busy lives often leaves tired and depleted of emotional strength. Extra rest will give you what you need to tackle those hard-hitting emotional moments.

2- Plan some special healing moments, activities or outings for yourself. Enjoying long-awaited, sought after moments are often seen and felt like a reward and when experienced, will leave you feeling happy, uplifted and energized.

3-Create a sense of gratitude within yourself. The best and fastest way to feel free, whole and love again is to remember what you already have that is great in your life and how grateful you are for it.

A holiday is very much like any other day. Stay mindful about your thoughts and commit to feelings of love and happiness. Let the power of gratitude fill your day and your Spirit and you may actually start noticing that a past holiday that use to create pain for you, is now a wonderful and healing moment.
