Making It Count!

Ouchy!! I just finished my 10 weeks of T25 Focus and started the 30 Day Shred. Wow, it is a challenge!

In light of this challenge, yesterday I shared a picture from a friend of mine, (check her out on Healthy Life in Balance on Facebook), and boy did I get a response! Thank you by the way, to all you Lovelies for your support, you know who you are.
Anyway, the reason I posted that picture is quite simple, I love to exercise! I do so, for many different reason; to feel better, sleep better, keep my hormonal system in check, stay fit and simply be a happier person.

There is really no way around it, if you want to live a great life, a life by your own terms, then health is a must! As we age, many things change (thank you Life for that!). It is true that the metabolism slows, and the body does age. HOWEVER, it is a choice to stay fit. It takes a balanced lifestyle to pull it off though.
We are talking about the food you eat, the work you do, the mindset you choose, the people you surround yourself with and of course, the everyday decisions you take.

It is a proven fact that exercising daily has a positive impact on your entire body, mind and Spirit. Not to mention, it keeps you looking great! Being fit is like everything else, it takes effort and determination, but I promise you, the results will by far surpass all your efforts as you age! So get out there, and move your body!

If you need encouragement, or help to set up some goals, then please send me a note. It will be my pleasure to help you reach your goals. I believe in YOU, because I am just like you, one day at a time, one step at a time!

Make it count!

Much love & appreciation,

Ever wish there was something to help restore balance and order in yourSELF? Now there is!

Have you heard of Bach Flower Remedies?

After my bad ski accident a few weeks ago, I was finding it really hard to enjoy myself. It was a pretty bad fall and I was scared and even though I went back several times, I just couldn’t let go of the fear (negative emotions are funny that way). Regardless if it is fear, anger, hate, sadness, or any other negative emotion, these simple to use plants help to restore balance, mood, emotions and inner states. Mind you, they cannot offer you a quality you don’t already possess or rid you of a persisting problem. As with everything in life, you need to address your issues, apply solutions and set in place good quality habits. If you are having temporary issues however, as we all seem to have at moments, these little drops will help restore the calmness.

Balance is the key ingredient in everything. Even in emotions. If you are creating fear, you are off balance. If you are creating anger, you are off balance. If you are constantly thinking of the same thing, over and over again, positive or negative, you are off balance. The Bach Flower Remedies will help to restore that balance. They are homeopathic remedies, create by Dr Edward Bach. There are only 38 remedies because Dr. Bach believed all situations, even over the decades, always came down to the same issues. For that reason, it is easy enough to learn about the Bach Remedies and to apply them to your everyday life. If you prefer, there are therapist who have the proper training with Bach Flower Remedies and who will be able, not only to guide you, but also to create a unique treatment bottle that will answer to your specific needs.

There are basically two ways to go about creating treatment bottles. You can either go with the positive or the negative. Both should end up giving you the desired outcome. If you are just starting out with Bach Flowers, you can reach out to me to set up an appointment, and it will be my pleasure to assist you via a live or web consultation.

Start by writing down the “emotions” or “state” that seems to be troubling you. The best way to do this is by stating an adjective that corresponds to a particular emotion/state (the negative adjectives). You can also choose to write down an adjective to each particular emotion/state you wish to create and live (the positive adjectives). With this list of adjectives, an experience therapist can easily build you a treatment bottle. You can also study the Flowers yourself and create a treatment bottle on your own given you have the mother tinctures of all the flowers.

I have used these Remedies timeless amount of times not only in assisting clients towards their health & wellness goals, but also in my personal and family life. Bach Flower Remedies are safe and easy to use for just about everyone as well as on your pets and in your garden. In each little bottle, you will find a ray of sunshine and a helping hand towards are happier, healthier you! It’s 2015 and I am grateful that this new year has started out with a huge bang! I have been so busy working on ground work for some goals, that it has taken me away from some of the other important things in my life. Today, I am feeling blessed for knowing balance in my life. It is normal to put some extra time & effort into a new and budding project, but it is imperative to keep one’s center and to stay balanced even amidst all the commotion of new and exciting goals. Take time to get to know your center and balance point and visit it daily as to stay focused. After all, it is your “home”.

Using Mantras

Written by Isabelle Giroux ND on . Posted in Blog, Inspiration, Life Coaching, Positive Thinking, Spirituality

There are many different reasons why people use mantras. The most common ones are to find balance, peace, calmness and serenity. To create this, all you have to do is mentally repeat and visualize a word or sentences that create this state of mind. These four sentences are MY favorite mantra. It has been taken from Ho’oponopono*.

* this is an ancient Hawaiian practice used to create perfect order and balance to heal a situation.
** Be sure to catch my up coming Post on Ho’oponopono by subscribing to my blog HERE.
